Birmingham ranks in the top global 100 universities (in the 2016-2017 QS World University Rankings), and with the Greene’s Geoscience Diploma you have the opportunity to study on a number of their undergraduate degree programmes which include:

BSc (Hons) Geology

BSc (Hons) Geology and Physical Geography

BSc (Hons) Palaeobiology and Palaeoenvironments

To progress from the Geoscience Diploma onto one of the undergraduate courses listed above, you need a minimum score of 65% attained at the end of the Diploma.

If you obtain a Merit (70-79%) you can be considered for entry to the MSci in Palaeobiology and Palaeoenvironments and those who obtain a Distinction (+80%) can be considered for entry onto the international MSci version of this course.

Jamie is an Economist and Historian holding postgraduate qualifications in these subjects from the Universities of St. Andrews and Durham in the UK.  He specialised in a wide range of historical periods but especially Scottish History from the fourteenth to the sixteenth centuries.
